Puglisevich is an RCMP Accredited Fingerprinting Agency providing Digital Fingerprinting in St. John’s, NL.
We use cutting edge Live Scan digital fingerprinting technology that allows us to submit fingerprints electronically to the RCMP databased with a quick turnaround time within approx. 72 hours.

Please be advised that in cases where a criminal record is encountered or where the applicant name is matching with somebody else the processing time may take up to 120 days.

Digital Fingerprints can be used for many purposes, such as:

  • Adoption (Canada/International)
  • Canadian Citizenship
  • Employment (Federal, Provincial, Municipal, Private, Police and Other)
  • Landed Immigrant Status
  • Name Change
  • Record Suspension (Pardon Application)
  • Privacy Act Request
  • Visa I Border Crossing/ Foreign Travel I Work
  • Volunteer Employment
  • Vulnerable Sector Checks
  • Any other civil matters

Required Documents:

According to the RCMP's policy, 2 original Identifications must be presented at the time of fingerprinting and/or Name & Date of Birth Background Check.

If you receive any request letter/email and/or instructions from the organization that required your fingerprints/background check, please provide them along with the IDs.

Required Identification for the purpose of Fingerprint submissions The Applicant must provide two original pieces of valid government issued ID Primary ID must have individual's photo/name/date of birth/signature.

  • Drivers License - Canadian or Foreign
  • Passport - Canadian or Foreign
  • Canadian Citizenship Card
  • Canadian Permanent Resident Card
  • Certification of Indian Status Card
  • Firearms Possession Certificate
  • Record of Landing
  • Canadian National Institute of the Blind Identification Card
  • Federal/Provincial/Municipal Identification Card
  • Military Family Identification Card
  • Work or Study Permit issued to a Foreign National

Acceptable Secondary ID includes:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • Hunting License
  • Fishing License
  • Marriage License
  • Immigration Papers

SOCIAL INSURANCE CARDS AND HEALTH CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR EITHER PRIMARY OR SECONDARY IDENTIFICATION
