Provides Oil & Gas, human resources and payroll support for one or more human resources functions.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily support to clients and/or departmental staff members in assigned area of human resources.
  • Researches, compiles, and may analyze data for various projects and reports.
  • Processes and/or explains forms to employees and applicants.
  • Provides support to hiring managers, candidates, organizational staff, and HR colleagues in one or more of the following areas:  
    • Candidate recruitment/screening; employment processing; compensation administration; training administration; employee relations; and/or equal opportunity.
    • Prepares procedures for assigned tasks.
    • Planning and coordinating logistics, searching personnel through database.
    • Ensures that personnel files and records are maintained
    • Receive, administer and pre-screen resumes and candidate applications
    • Performs miscellaneous administration functions and projects as assigned
    • Determine candidate qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements
    • Fill open vacancies in a timely manner (local / full time / contract / temporary)
    • Accuracy and attention to detail is very important in this position.  Candidate should be well organized and be able to assist and support others. 
    • Other duties as required

Education & Experience Required:

  • College degree preferred.  High School Diploma and Human Resources Education required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas recruitment for Semi-Submersibles, Jack-ups, etc
  • 1-2 years’ experience with payroll, statutory deductions and working with payroll providers.
  • Afterhours on-call required while in this position
  • Good communication and organizational skills, ability to work on multiple tasks and ability to be a team player are all necessary qualifications the individual must possess.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are required.
